Nowadays the vast majority of manufacturers of machinery, equipment and automotive vehicles are not manufacturers of their own parts and end up approving manufacturers so that they can produce their assembly parts.

OEM or “original equipment manufacturer” spare parts (free translation) are developed by the same company that manufactured the original product for the automaker. OEM spare parts are genuine parts without the manufacturer's brand and are manufactured with the same machinery and need as the originals, therefore guaranteeing a perfect fit, finish and function. Suppliers also guarantee OEM replacement parts. OEM parts are just as important as the original parts, but you get them for a better value.

There was a time when manufacturers built all parts of their machinery, equipment and automobiles. However necessary as to the need to reduce costs, (both with investments in production machinery) due to exchange rate differences and increased demands, these days are over, but this is not necessarily a bad thing, because many of the companies specialize in the development and creation of these parts for specific manufacturers. Therefore, they are promoted in a different way and with equal quality.

Do not confuse OEM parts with parallel parts, parallel parts are produced by companies not approved by the assemblers, as this segment is very wide, it is practically impossible to unanimous the quality of these products, so you can find high performance parallel parts, subjected to rigorous tests quality, but the vast majority are low-performance parts, poorly finished and with a very short service life.
When choosing the right part for your equipment you can make a great deal by choosing high quality OEM or parallel parts, but it can be a bad deal, or share extremely expensive products directly with manufacturers, or purchase parallel products with extremely low prices, of doubtful origin.
